From the Brand Conceived in 1972, Jay "Sparky" Longley began experimenting with making sandals in his Laguna Beach garage. With just $200, he purchased a sewing machine and some rubber, setting out to create the best sandal. Officially launching Rainbow Sandals, Inc. in 1974, the company now produces 2 million pairs annually.
The goal has always been to create a quality product that avoids contributing to landfill waste, and that commitment continues even after the sandals leave the store. 50 years later, the Rainbow Sandals Factory Outlet remains at 326 Calle de Los Molinos, San Clemente, CA.
